ABOUT

An original early 20th century modular 4 stack quarter sawn Oak lawyer's bookcase with rare bottom drawer constructed with dovetail joinery, brass knobs and brass plated metal straps. Graduated sized cabinets with original wavy glass doors that open and slide in from the top.

The whole piece is modular consisting of 6 pieces: the top, the bottom and four cabinets that all interlock. Original "Globe-Wernicke" labels in each cabinet.

  • MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Quarter Sawn Oak, Glass, Brass, Metal.
  • CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. No chips in the glass. Doors work properly. One knob slightly different.
