Original vintage German travel poster for Spain featuring artwork by Guy Georget. Signed in plate. Georget’s first commercial posters appear in the late 1940s. Hired by the tourist boards, the artist produced posters tempting people to visit Spain in which you see the influence of Picasso and Georges Braque.

  • MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Paper, Lithograph.
  • CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Small hole lower right. Pin hole top right. Top left corner two small tears. Lower right three inch tear and damage at the corner. Would recommend linen backing. 
  • DIMENSIONS  H 24.5 in. W 39 in.
