HISTORY

The "Zoom Reflex" series of 8mm cameras was introduced in 1961, beginning with the P1. The camera featured a built-in SOM Berthiot Pan Cinor f/1.9 zoom lens with a focal length range from 8mm to 40mm.

The camera offered a reflex viewing system that used a split-image rangefinder; a needle indicator in the viewfinder allowed proper exposure to be determined. The eyepiece was adjustable to the user's eyesight and included a removable rubber eyecup.
