An original United Clock Corp. oversize brass pocket watch hanging clock. The clock features a white clock face with black lettering, curved glass front, gold glass accents long brass chain and plug in cord. Marked "United" on the clock face and Model 47 on the back.
This clock needs a new cord. Price reflects the repair.

HISTORY
The United Clock Corp. was a prominent American clock manufacturer based in Brooklyn, New York, from 1899 until the 1970s. The company was founded by William L. Gilbert and George W. Owen, two experienced clock makers who had previously worked for the Gilbert Clock Company.
Despite closing in the 1980s, the United Clock Company remains an important part of American clock making history and its products are still sought after by collectors today.
