Antique "International Business Machines" Cast Iron Cheese Slicer c.1901

ABOUT

An antique cheese slicer with sharp steel metal cleaver, wooden handle and nickel mounts and scales. A nickel lever and another nickel scale turn the wheel in precise increments for weight and pricing. 

Cast iron with worn original blue/green and gold paint. Original mounted nickel label and two other faded graphics on top and on the side. 

Both lever and measuring scale appear to work properly. Steel blade handle lifts properly.

HISTORY

This was patented by International Business Machine (IBM, now known for computer parts and services) in 1901.
