A set of four mid-century Rosewood dining chairs refinished and reupholstered with new black leather seats. Unmarked. Attributed to Arne Hovmand Olsen.

Please note the lighting shows on some of the seats but all seats are new and blemish free.

  • MATERIALS & TECHNIQUES Rosewood, Leather.
  • CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Refinished in tung oil. Reupholstered in black leather.
  • DIMENSIONS H 30.5 in. x W 19 in. x D 19 in. Seat Height 17 in.


HISTORY

As a child Arne Hovmand Olsen had a passion for drawing. Because of this passion his parents arranged for an internship at P. Olsen Sibast. Quite a good move by the farmer’s family, as their son grew into a successful mid-range designer with sizeable success in Denmark.
