Rare Red Aniline Herman Miller DCM Chairs c.1950-1960
A rare set of early Red Aniline Herman Miller DCM possibly Evans which predated Eames. Each chair is stained red with metal legs and early metal glides. These chairs are fabricated from molded plywood seats and backs attached to a metal base, creating a minimal silhouette. The grain varies from chair to chair, exhibiting a range of movement and uniqueness within the set. All the shock absorbers have been replaced on the chairs which is common.
