ABOUT
World War 2 era American flag with 48 stars. The flag body is of multi-piece construction, with each stripe a separate piece of fabric. Cotton or linen bunting, with a heavy canvas header bearing brass grommets. The stars are separate pieces of cotton, sewn onto both sides of the blue canton. The flag header is marked with "Valley Forge Flag Co."

HISTORY
Valley Forge Flag, based in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, is one of the largest U.S. flag manufacturers. The company was founded in 1882. It has a large wet printing facility in Olanta, South Carolina.
