World War 2 era American flag with 48 stars from Puerto Rico. The flag body is of multi-piece construction, with each stripe a separate piece of fabric. Cotton bunting, with a heavy canvas header bearing brass grommets. The stars are separate pieces of cotton, sewn onto both sides of the blue canton. The flag header is marked with "Case Corporation San Juan Puerto Rico".
