An antique Signer sewing machine stool. A well crafted piece with a round feet, cast base, Maple seat and a swivel mechanism to adjust the seating height. "Singer" is embossed on the feet. This stool has retained much of its original finish and is sturdy and structurally sound.

HISTORY
Besides sewing machines, the Singer Company manufactured furniture for the textile industry— the Singer stool being one of the most popular pieces. The stool went through multiple iterations over the years and this one is the model featuring four straight legs (as opposed to round).
