An antique Royal Standard typewriter with double glass panels on each side and glass keys with white letters. (The double glass panels were first used for this model.) This typewriter has smooth typing and the space bar function well. The carriage functions properly but only sticks due to the platen. The platen (black roll bar) needs to be changed along with the ribbon. The logo on the front is missing.

HISTORY

The Royal Typewriter Company was founded by Edward B. Hess and Lewis C. Myers in January 1904 in a machine shop in Brooklyn, New York.
