An original Remington Rand Deluxe Model 5 Typewriter with black, crinkle finish and original case. The keys are black with gold letters. This typewriter is very clean and works very well. It has smooth typing and the carriage advances and functions properly. The ribbon has been changed. The leather wrapped case is original and has a solid Bakelite handle.

HISTORY
E. Remington and Sons (1816–1896) was a manufacturer of firearms and typewriters. Founded in 1816 but on March 1, 1873, it became known for manufacturing the first commercial typewriter.
