Large Steel Industrial 80 Cubicle Machinist Cabinet c.1930-1940
This is an original industrial machinist cabinet. The cabinet is made of two different thickness of steel. The top, sides and bottom are a thinner steel with thick bands of steel running across the front. The cabinet has a total of 80 cubicles. Each cubicle is 5 3/8" h 4.75" w 13" d with a 1.5" h band across each row. The top row of cubicles is slightly smaller in height at 5" h. The top row has dimensions written on the steel band. The white numbers appear to be newer and were added later. A very striking piece that could be used to hold wine bottles.
