This is an adjustable, steel Optometrist stool on casters. The middle hydraulic box has a lever that controls the movement up and down with a screw top that locks it in place. "Shur-O- Standard Optical Co." and "Genothamic" are on embossed in steel on the top of the box. The tobacco swivel, vinyl seat appears to have been recovered later.
