A pair of 19th century leather wrapped binoculars with enameled brass body. "Debutant Paris" is written on both eye pieces. The name "Debutant" was commonly used by French opticians to designate a specific size or style of elegant, mid-to-high tier theater binoculars designed for social gatherings and cultural outings.
