ABOUT

Mid-century modern Danish teak desk with black lacquered metal legs, five small drawers and one large file drawer. Brass key holes on three drawers. Two pull out writing trays on either side lined with original green felt and topped with glass. Inset shelves on in the front. Other details include angled desk trim, teak capped feet and dovetail joints on the drawers. Solidly built with ample storage.

  • CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Minor scratches throughout. Pea size dent top near trim. Faint water ring on top. New glass in one tray. No keys to drawers.

HISTORY

Hvidt & Mølgaard was a Copenhagen-based, Danish design and architectural firm which existed from 1944 until 2009.
