This vintage mid-century modern brown Wassily arm chair designed by Marcel Breuer was manufactured by Knoll International circa 1960. This chair features beautiful brown cowhide leather on a classic chrome-plated tubular steel frame. Original "Knoll International 320 Park Ave." label. The Wassily chair, also known as the Model B3 chair, was originally designed by Marcel Breuer in 1925 at the Bauhaus in Dessau, Germany. The sling arm chair was celebrated for its revolutionary use of bent tubular steel and minimalist form, a groundbreaking creation inspired by bicycle handlebars and the principles of machine-age aesthetics. This iconic, timeless and highly collectible chair is both beautiful and functional and perfect for home or office.
