HISTORY

Studebaker started as an American wagon manufacturer based in Indiana. Founded in 1852 as the Studebaker Brothers Manufacturing Company, the firm originally built coaches, wagons, buggies, carriages and harnesses. It eventually entered the automotive business in the early 1900s with gasoline vehicles.
