Antique Pocket Poco by the Rochester Optical Co. Folding Camera c.1903
ABOUT
The original Pocket Poco was manufactured by the Rochester Optical Co. from approximately 1893 to 1905. Designed as a small compact camera, the camera took 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 (quarter plate) size images. Constructed of wood covered in seal grain leather, red leather bellows and brass and nickel plated hardware. The camera folds to 2.5 inches. Original San Francisco camera shop label on the case.

HISTORY
