An antique cast iron tobacco plug cutter used in general stores during the late 19th and early 20th centuries to slice pressed plug tobacco into smaller, sold-by-the-inch pieces. Cast iron frame with a metal blade and a wooden base. A popular advertising collectible, often featuring the name of a local grocery company.
