Antique original fare register box #6026 manufactured by the International Register Co. of Chicago. These were mounted in streetcars and rapid transit booths to record the number of fares. This fare box has intact glass panel and working mechanisms. The pull out knob resets the number of passengers and changes "IN" and "OUT". The lever adds the number of passengers and rings when pushed down.
