Original American made World War ll era industrial articulating arm factory lamps . Each tubular steel task lamp is triple-jointed and retains the original factory green enameled finish. The switch toggles off and on. The mounting brackets contain two pre-drilled holes for mounting on a table or a wall. The light fixtures were likely mounted to a factory machine shop lathe or workbench.

  • CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. One lamp is rewired and one lamp has a spice. Both function properly. One bracket is angled so the lamp mounts up the wall and out similar to a sconce. One bracket is angled so the lamp mounts out from the wall.

HISTORY

Fostoria’s roots date back to 1917, when the Fostoria Pressed Steel Corp. was founded in Fostoria, OH. The company manufactured and marketed replacement fenders and running boards for the automotive aftermarket. With their extensive metalworking capabilities, Fostoria branched into industrial work lights in the early 1930's.
