A handmade antique BSA British motorcycle store parts cabinet with four drawers, brass rings, brass label holders and dovetails joints. Original brass label that reads "Store Units, London". Each drawer has original labels and segmented interiors.

  • MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES Oak, Brass.
  • CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. One ring has been replaced. 
  • DIMENSIONS H 12 in. W 18 in. D 11 in., Drawers: 1.75 in. depth.

HISTORY

Standing for Birmingham Small Arms Company Ltd, BSA was founded in 1861, for the production of firearms. They chose 25 acres of ground at Small Heath and by 1863 the factory was complete. The brand’s motorcycle division was set up in 1903, and the first motorcycle followed in 1910.
