HISTORY

Danish designer Folke Pålsson was a part of the FDB design collective. FDB was founded after World War II with the aim to make affordable furniture for everyday use, closely following the infamous Bauhaus principle.

Pålsson’s Windsor-inspired J77 dining chair is what he became most famous for. The chair has a wide seat in stunning proportion, and curved spindle back for optimal comfort, while the slightly conical legs create extra stability.
