An early 20th century flat file map cabinet with original brass plated metal pulls and label holders. Constructed with dovetail joinery.

• CONDITION Good. Wear consistent with age and use. Top not original-replaced sometime in it's lifetime.

HISTORY

Flat file cabinets were designed to be stacked, acting as modular, vertical storage units for large documents like maps, blueprints, and artwork. They typically don't have tops so replacing them is commonplace.
