ABOUT
An original early 20th century modular 4 stack lawyer's bookcase. Solid walnut with oak interior, brass knobs, metal straps and glass doors that open and slide in from the top. Graduating cabinet sizes. Original glass in each cabinet.
The whole piece is modular consisting of 6 pieces: the top, the bottom and four cabinets that all interlock. Each cabinet and the base have original "Globe-Wernicke" labels. Each glass door has a gold stenciled maker's mark on the bottom that reveals itself when opened.
