An original pair of aluminum and leather wrapped French field binoculars with compass. "Jumelle Etat Major" (Twin General Staff) is inscribed on each barrel. The objective lenses are clear and their optics are good. The metal focus wheel works well. Compass works. The piece is in good condition with appropriate patina for its age.
