Waterford Crystal Irish Dog Madra Decanter

$225

ABOUT

Taking inspiration from David Blake Knox’s book, The Curious History of Irish Dogs, this decanter is inspired by the loyal companion and Ireland’s passion for dogs; focusing on the nation’s most popular native breeds including the Irish Terrier. Madra is the Irish word for dog.

The design draws on the unique features of the popular Irish breed. The hand-sculpted crystal dog head stoppers depict the undeniable likeness of the Irish Terrier in black and the carefully cut crystal base pattern which replicates a dog’s claw. The decanter combines timeless design with a modern feel.
