Pair of 19th Century Cast Iron Urns from France, 1800s

$2,495

ABOUT

A pair of 19th-century French cast iron garden urns featuring a classic lobed lower bowls, flared rims, and a sturdy, integrated stepped square plinth base. At 13" high, this rare smaller size is incredibly versatile, ideal for interior styling on mantels, console tables, and bookshelves, or as a striking addition to a patio or garden wall.  Both urns feature a raised letter "D" cast directly into the interior iron. This indicates an original sand-mold production marking, heavily pointing to the A. Durenne foundry or an elite French catalog size classification.
