ABOUT

A large Rosewood modular wall unit consisting of three separate units. Each piece can stand on its own. Features include mirrored bar with soft touch open front, six original brass keys, shelving and six drawers with plexiglass dividers. All the locks operate properly.  Breaks down to eleven pieces. Original labels.

  • CONDITION Good. Minor wear consistent with age and use. Fading on the side of one piece which can easily be hidden.

HISTORY

George Satink was a German architect, interior designer and designer. After his apprenticeship at the school for applied arts in Cologne, he worked as a designer for Deutsche Werkstätten Hellerau (from 1934) and for WK-Verband (after world war II). Satink designed numerous one-of-a-kind interiors, as well as furniture series, and won several international prizes.
