Modular Candelabra by Caesar Stoffi and Fritz Nagel c.1960
This is an original sculpture made of 3 individual candle holders by Caesar Stoffi and Fritz Nagel for BMF, Germany. This modular design can be configured in any number of ways both vertically and horizontally by stacking each interlocking piece. Add more to make a large sculptural piece.
Each individual candlestick is chrome and measures 4" diameter x 2.5" height. The individual pieces are based on a triangle formation and all are designed to interconnect into a numerous different designs and sculptural shapes. They are perfectly weighted and balanced so many of the various formations you create remain stable, even when one of the holders is hanging in midair. This piece has retained its original finish and is in excellent condition with appropriate patina for its age.
